What to do around Kusadasi

There are lots to do around Kusadasi,whatever your age or taste. Kusadasi has many Turkish, Irish, English and Dutch residences living all year round making it a special place to holiday anytime.

Fancy a day in a water park, well there are three, and Adaland on the north side of Kusdasi being one of the biggest in Europe

There are many beaches, all with blue flags. Most have restaurants, cafes, water sport, beach shops, etc.., and are accessed by regular Dolmus services.

How about a horse safari, riding the beaches and swimming the sea with the horses .Visiting the Delik National Park with its secluded beaches, forests and mountains via jeep safari on the Dolmus and make your own way.

The historical town is worth a visit, especially on a saturday (market day). From Selcek a Dolmus to Shringe village a small village up in the mountain, where you can sample, and buy fine wines of the region.

There are many boats available for a days sailing, with lunch on board, and visiting secluded coves, for a swim in the clear Aegean sea

If shopping is a hobby then you are in for a treat,apart from the many jewellery, carpet, designer gear clothes shops, leather shops of Kusadasi, then take the coach to Izmir. Izmir is unrivalled shopping experience, with Ikea, lots of top designer shops, and quaint shops and markets.

A ferry leaves Kusadasi every day for the Greek island of Samoa. Leaving in the early morning, to return late evening.

There are Dolmus services to different parts of Kusadasi, ie Aydin passing through the picturesque traditional local Cherry Hill village. Dolmus services to the National Park via Davultar and Guvelcamli. Dolmus service to Selcuk, and Soke, as well as all the beaches and water parks.

The Ancient sites around Kusadasi are history lessons. Ephesus is one the seven wonders of the world taking more than two hours to visit. The house of the Virgin Mary not far from Ephesus, is where she spent her last days. These are just two of the wonderful ancient sites around Kusadasi.

As then sun begins to set, a cool glass of local Efes beer or a glass of wine, in one of the many restaurants, as you watch the spectacular sunsets.
